Who is in charge of matters of our hearts ?

Endless stories about Venus and who she is. Here is what I have taken in. I desire to share her potent yet practical energies and how she influences our lives before my Venus retrograde post.

Venus is known not only for bestowing love, but also for her association with delight, pleasure, fine attire, flavorful foods, spices, adornment, and the refined appreciation of beauty.

Venus inspires love, materializes money, and instills a love of music, and trades in the very luxuries she so deeply enjoys.

Venus and Her Space

Her Rulership: Libra and Taurus, where she knows all the ins and outs of that space.

Her Exaltation: Pisces, where she is celebrated. She does not have to do maintenance, as she would in her rulership.

Her Exile: Aries and Scorpio, where she may have a lack of resources and has to work with less than usual.

Her Fall: Virgo, where she may feel a lack of recognition and respect, despite an incredible amount of work and servitude.

Her Gifts:

Gentleness, aesthetic beauty, affection, kindness, and love. Reconciliation with others. Joyful, expressive, nurturing. Creativity.

Her Challenges :

Self-indulgent, over-emotional, lustful. Superficial, possessive, jealousy.

Her delusion :

This desire for a possessive love leaves the other kind absent (eros vs. philia). You’re giving up the desire for possessive love.

Trades and Activities: Artistry, music, dance, decorations, designing, embroidery, lapidary, jewelry, ornamental gardening, social activities.

Aspirations and Desires : Assists in matters of the heart, good for partnerships and social affairs, pleasure, the arts, traveling, relationships between younger people and women in general.

Quintessence: The Highest element in ancient & medieval philosophy. The essence of a thing in its purest and most concentrated form.

Quintessence the 5th Element

The word quintessence comes from Latin, meaning “fifth essence.” In ancient and medieval times, people believed the world was made of four basic elements: earth, water, air, and fire. But beyond these, there was said to be a fifth—a divine, unchanging substance that filled the heavens and connected all things.

Unlike the four earthly elements, which change and decay, quintessence was believed to be eternal and perfect. It was thought to move the stars and planets and to exist beyond the physical world.

Alchemists believed it was the purest form of matter—and the key to ultimate transformation. They linked it to the Philosopher’s Stone, a legendary object said to turn metals into gold and even grant immortality.

Venus’ Green Ray:

Connected to the throat chakra, thyroid, and parathyroids; healer and harmonizer; builds vitality; good for headache and nervous tension; offers refreshment, pleasure, and balance; connected to emotions, love of beauty, and artistry; stimulates creative imagination; too much can cause emotional excess and sensation.
