The Ornaments of the Night🪄

As we look back through time, we learn that ancient times, with minimal basic needs, were centered around survival. At night, the stars became ornaments as humans looked up, mesmerized by the sky. We were connected once, in the cold desert, watching the heavens.
Ancient astronomers and philosophers sought wisdom and learned to trust the heavens’ light at night and the hidden ones beneath the sun’s warm beam during the day. They understood that time is not linear but circular.
Now we are often lost in the abyss of modern life, identity, social approval, and flexing our manifestation muscles. In our present time, success is defined by LinkedIn connections for some, while some of us have our own hard-work trophies displayed somewhere. This too is part of being human.
As time passes, muscles that were once toned are asked to soften. As time moves, we are reshaped. We are asked to create new ways and new paths, yet we often believe moving forward means manifesting more.
Yet we were never taught that time allows a seed to move through its natural cycle before it produces fruit. No plant bears fruit endlessly unless it leaves its organic form and becomes something artificial.
When we realize we cannot recreate the same muscle we once had, even with modern means like steroids and multivitamins, we may reach a point where the price is disconnecting from our essence. We may blame others in our lives, yet replacing people might not change our soul’s story. Time always reveals. It is a matter of when.
Our ancestors watched when the lights of the sky moved and blinked, so they would not go against the nature of time. They left us their greatest gift: the knowledge of observing the heavens under crystal-clear skies across generations. But we have forgotten to seek and look up at the stars.
Once the celestial lights begin speaking to us as they spoke to our ancestors, my hope is that we find peace in accepting this rhythm, with everything included that makes us human.
We are not meant to climb endlessly. We are meant to pause and nourish our souls as well, watch the language of the ornaments in the sky, and remember that our souls are eternal.
