The Council in the Sky ✨ Part I: The Gathering

Throughout July 2026, something unusual has been unfolding in the heavens. Many Astrologers have noticed the unique formation being discussed as the Cosmic Cradle, also known by some as the Barbault Basket.

As I watch these outer planets slowly arrive, I cannot help but envision a council gathering in the sky.

One by one, each planet takes its place around a half-moon table (half of the zodiac), bringing its own agenda, its own purpose, and its own timeline to this rare conversation.

By the time we reach July 18 through July 23, with July 20 marking the heart of this gathering, all voices are present. Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and finally Jupiter will join this line up. Each brings its own inner authority, carrying the essence of what it represents. Together, these distinct forces begin describing the atmosphere we are entering.

For many years, Earth and Water energies shaped our experience through their fertile union.

Earth helped us build cities, expand agriculture, create structures, and seek security. Water carried our memories, ancestral stories, and emotional depths, inviting us to look inward and heal what has been passed down.

Together, they created a strong gravitational pull. They helped us preserve, protect, and create stability, yet sometimes they became a heavy weight, making it harder to release the old and step into the unfamiliar.

Now the atmosphere is beginning to change...

Perhaps the question is no longer only, “Will I have enough? Will I be secure?”

Instead, we may begin asking:

“Where am I meant to fly?

“What part am I called to play?”

Some may feel this shift more strongly than others at the moment. It is almost as if we are growing wings, wanting to scout the horizon before choosing where to land next.

With more Air and Fire in the heavens, life may begin to feel faster and more open. Air invites us to think differently and see from a bird’s eye view. Fire awakens courage and the desire to act. When Air joins Fire, the energy becomes potent, expands, and moves beyond our familiar sense of self.

We may now seek people who share our new values, evolving vision, and expanding ideas. For many, the family we choose becomes just as important as the family we were born into.

With time, we will discover our place in this new “Airscape”. Some will adapt quickly. Others will need time to open up, develop new skills and new ways of navigating.

It is almost as if we are lifting our eyes from the ground after a very long time and looking up.
